WesternSky Shiba Inus
Central Coast of California
Hear what our puppy buyers have to say about WesternSky Shiba Inu dogs:
We are all getting acclimated in miami beach - yes, even the westerly shiba! boy, has she traveled far...let's
see, she's met a lot of other dogs here of different breeds and an iguana the size of a cat. :) we always have cold water for her - she loves drinking water with ice. :)
steve and i are also so happy that foxxy has a clean bill of health - she went through a pretty extensive health check up in may before we took her to paris. she is our favorite traveling companion.

Hi Ed and the gang, just thought i'd drop a quick line about our Shiba "Oki" that we purchased from you back in 2004. I believe Oki was born on or around
Oct 18 2004. He's an awesome dog and we sure have enjoyed him. Here's a picture i took of him this afternoon, we recently had a winter blast up here and he always loves the snow. Happy Holidays, Lee & Judy, near Seattle, WA.

We purchased your runt boy (smallest in the litter) from Kingo and Westerly Red Starlight earlier this year.I have attached some pics of Kingo's, "Lil Red Kiko" and his girl
friend Ginger. He is developing slowly but is a great little guy. His color is deep red sesame, and he is pretty tenacious for being so small.

Thought you might like to see how he is coming along.
Thanks,
Amy

Well-adjusted pups make for great companions and great adult dogs. Good, strong bloodlines which show in the dog itself are necessary. Temperament, conformation, character and strength are important. Loyalty is inherent in the breed, but the owner needs to cultivate it.
Friends-Nismo and Foxxy at the park. These two are Kuli pups. They live in the San Francisco bay area and join up often for fun. Many of Ed's Shibas have been welcomed into the doggie culture of the bay area. Nismo has gone many places with his family.
Due to current time constraints, work and family obligations, the dogs have not been shown.
Puppies are monitored for health.
As to temperaments and companionship, Shibas frequent the house, yards and go on outings. Shibas love to go in the car to the beach, the park and the store.
Some of the well behaved Shibas: from left--Maya, Cami, Pomo (deceased), and Kingo. All live with Ed, Maxwell, the Siamese and another lovely spayed cat and Otis (a chihuahua, the watchdog). Maya has joined them along with other dogs and cats.
All the dogs are house trained and some stay in at night and all spend a lot of time outdoors with a cat or two during the day.
